CMS Project Manager

We are looking for a CMS Project Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, our mission is to reimagine the performance of buildings to serve people, places, and the planet. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with experience in the construction and technology industries. They will be responsible for selling large volume, integrated low voltage technology solutions to contractors and consultants responsible for new construction and renovation building projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or business, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five to seven years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience working in the building technologies or construction industry.
• Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to cold call on owners, architects, consultants, and contractors to create new business opportunities within the construction market.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Experience in the traditional plan & spec bid and/or design-build markets.
