Controls Service Technician 1

We are seeking a Controls Service Technician 1 to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, our mission is to reimagine the performance of buildings to serve people, places, and the planet. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry, a vocational school program graduate or associate's degree in a technical field, and effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry
• Vocational School program graduate or an associate's degree in a technical field
• Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment
• Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites
• Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people
• Demonstrate effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications
• Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building subsystems
