Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Service Technician to join their team. The role involves service and repair, design, configuration, and operation of complete HVAC building control systems and other low voltage control sub-systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing complex software programs, commissioning and solving to ensure proper operations of the building control system and HVAC system.
Requirements
- Prior experience with Software Programming, IT or Networking background, electrician or HVAC Technician experience would offer valuable skill sets to this position.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the construction or service, or HVAC industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
- Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e., LON, BACnet, etc.).
- Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
- Demonstrated computer skills required, HVAC sequence programming
- Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure and Network troubleshooting
