
Job description
Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems, including fire, security, and low voltage control sub-systems. Accountable to field teams for quality, timeliness, and efficiency of designs. Develops complex software programs to ensure proper operations of the building control system.
Design and configure technically complex building control systems, create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, and electrical schematics. Develop and test software programs, coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules, and select, order, and track delivery of materials.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum 3 years' experience, demonstrated knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry, and experience with JCI software programming. Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience and travel regularly.
