
Job description
Responsible for designing, configuring, and operating complete building control systems, including fire, security, and low voltage control sub-systems. Accountable to field teams for quality, timeliness, and efficiency of designs. Develops complex software programs to ensure proper operations of the building control system.
Designs and configures technically complex building control systems, creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, and electrical schematics. Develops and tests software programs, coordinates drawings and equipment schedules, and selects and tracks material delivery.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 3+ years of experience in the construction or HVAC industry. Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, and building automation systems is required.
