Plant Lean Leader

The Plant Lean Leader will assess current state performance, identify gaps, and establish a plan to achieve future state performance under the Johnson Controls Continuous Improvement & Production system. The role will also define, design, and implement process improvements, and facilitate and coach improvement teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 Years minimum experience in Continuous Improvement
• 5 Years experience as a operational frontline leader
• Demonstrated high-level performance in current and previous positions
• Initiative, desire to drive change, and motivation to exceed expectations
• Solid leadership skills and ability to manage vertically and horizontally
• Basic statistical knowledge and ability to apply statistics to product and process improvement projects
• Certifications from a reputable lean leading company
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to exercise without authority
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail
