Job Description
Join Johnson Controls Canada as an Energy Solutions Development Specialist to work on high-risk, complex, and significant projects focused on energy efficiency and decarbonization. The role involves leading engineering tasks, internal processes, and financial aspects, as well as providing technical support and communicating with clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building, or related engineering, as applicable.
- More than 10 years of experience in the design or sales of HVAC systems, energy modeling, renewable energy systems, micro-grids, construction, or facility management.
- Specific certifications or licenses, such as a Professional Engineer's license for engineering roles, CEM, LEED, CMVP, CBCP, etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building system analysis, energy consumption analysis, energy modeling, and distributed energy generation.
- Ability to lead engineering teams, work effectively in a team, achieve results, focus on the customer, and act ethically.
- Ability to communicate with non-technical clients and simplify complex topics.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Solutions Architect, EQuest, JC Facts, and NISC benchmarking tools.
