Job Description
Join Johnson Electric as a Automation Controls Lead. Lead a team of Controls Specialists, program, debug, install, and start new or modified production and test equipment. Collaborate with Mechanical Design, Project, and Process Management teams. Ensure adherence to industry standards and lead a team of Controls Specialists.
Requirements
- Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar
- 5+ yrs experience in an automation/controls environment
- Hands on technical skills with respect to Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic Systems
- Expert level in PLC programming (Omron NJ/Allen Bradley) and Robot programming (Fanuc/Yaskawa/Kuka)
- Knowledge of Labview based systems and ability to program them is asset
- Understanding of the SQL database and related software
- Excellent communications, negotiating, conflict management, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with automotive systems and quality requirements in accordance with IATF 16949/ISO9001 operating systems
