Maintenance Technician

Under the direction of the Production Manager, this position repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, heating systems, plumbing, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, and other equipment used in the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One to two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to work overtime
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of various trades
• Possess required tools
• Knowledge of all processes used in product manufacturing
• Achieves high percent of task target dates.
• Suggests, develops and improves current work processes.
• Willing to assist others when his/her tasks are complete.
• Contributes ideas to improve current processes.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse group of co-workers and vendors.
• Contributes to a positive working environment.
