Job Description
The Quality Engineering Manager will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians to improve product safety and quality through Continuous Improvement Projects, Inspection, Rework, and Refurbishment of products sold by Johnson Health Tech North America.
Requirements
- Lead and inspire the team to take ownership and achieve company goals and annual KPI’s
- Mentor team members and build an empowered team
- Foster an atmosphere of growth and improvement
- Manage cost centers and budgets
- Establish and manage Processes, Trainings, and SOP’s to track Product Safety Issues, analyze data, identify trends, identify root causes, draft formal documentation, and train outside departments in Product Safety Processes
- Establish and manage processes and SOPs to track Defects, analyze Defect Data/Identify Trends, identify Root Causes, create Effective Corrective Actions, Rework Products, and Refurbish Products
- Travel to customer sites (domestically) and Manufacturing sites (internationally) 6-12 times per year
- Communicate with domestic and global teams during non-business hours
