Mechanical Technician

Join Johnson Matthey as a Mechanical Technician and contribute to the company's mission of accelerating the transition to net-zero. As a key member of the Mechanical Team, you will be responsible for delivering preventative and proactive maintenance of Mechanical systems, attending to reactive/corrective maintenance, and improving site performance in aspects of safe operation, regulatory compliance, productive output, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous Manufacturing/Chemical industry experience
• Knowledge and experience of site services, Gas, Compressed air, Steam, cooling water and how to deenergise and work on safely.
• Knowledge and use of technical drawings & operator manuals alongside Mechanical exploded view/cross sectional drawings & P&ID's to aid fault diagnosis process.
