Superintendent

JRM is seeking a Superintendent to coordinate and oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and timely project delivery.

Requirements

• Support the General Superintendent in developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules
• Enforce and maintain corporate safety program requirements
• Track material procurement and delivery timelines
• Participate in weekly foreman, superintendent, and project team meetings
• Prepare accurate and timely daily construction reports
• Identify, implement, and maintain appropriate risk controls
• Establish and maintain effective document control systems
• Communicate design questions or information gaps to the Project Manager
• Assist in preparing monthly project status reports for client submission
• Ensure all required permits and jurisdictional approvals are obtained
• Partner with the Project Manager during preconstruction to identify constructability concerns, scope gaps, and potential risks
• Research and address owner, landlord, and city/state requirements to prevent delays, ensure safety, and support client satisfaction
• Develop a strong understanding of project strategy, including financial objectives, schedules, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspection requirements
• Oversee daily field operations to ensure site safety, quality workmanship, schedule adherence, progress tracking, and site cleanliness
• Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain an accurate, up-to-date project schedule
• Foster positive subcontractor and vendor relationships through professionalism, fairness, and clear communication
