Job Description
As a Data Platform Responsible, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical leadership and lifecycle management of a global data platform, ensuring alignment with business needs, architecture standards, and operational resilience.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in Data Platforms / Data Lakes / Data Lake houses (Kubernetes, Kafka, Distributed Storage like S3/HDFS) – preferably On prem.
- Several years of work experience in a similar capacity in the financial industry
- Experience in leading technical direction of data platforms, keeping up to date with the modern possibilities of tooling, formats, concepts.
- Experience in managing the full platform lifecycle, from concept and design through development, testing, deployment, operation, and eventual retirement, including responsibility for master data, incident support, and release coordination
- VM setup and scaling (pods), K8S scaling, managing Docker with Harbor, pushing Images through CI/CD together with development team
- Higher Education in Computer Science (University, University of Applied Sciences or equivalent diploma)
