Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Home Manager for a 6 bedded EBD provision for boys (ages 11-16) in the Blackpool area. This is a challenging but rewarding role, balancing the needs of individual children with a wide range of responsibilities.
Requirements
- NVQ5 is essential
- Driving License
- Childcare legislation and Child protection knowledge
- Understanding needs of BESD Children
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour
- 2 years recent experience working with children
- At least 1 year at senior level in residential care
- Professional Care Qualification (DipSW, CMS, CQSW, Registered Manager’s Award)
