Job Description
Join June Shelton School & Evaluation Center as a Lower School Teacher. We're seeking a dedicated teacher to work with bright children with learning differences across all subject areas using Montessori Applied to Children at Risk (MACAR) strategies and Multisensory Structured Language Education (MSLE).
Requirements
- 3+ years of elementary education teaching experience desired
- Bachelors Degree in Education, Child/Human Development, or Special Education required. Masters Degree, Montessori training, and/or Language Therapy training are preferred.
- Desire and positive enthusiasm to work with Lower School students
- Experience working with students with learning differences
- Proficiency in educational technology
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues
