Job Description
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team at Swansea Wood School. As a Special Education Teacher, you will convey your passion for helping others while working with our students in a residential treatment setting. You will create and implement structured lesson plans, build therapeutic rapport with students, and work collaboratively with our Special Education team to provide the best academics for our students.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be licensed or be eligible to be waived by the Massachusetts DESE for Special Education Moderate Disabilities 5-12 and/or Secondary Education licensure
- Relevant experience with grades 5-12 preferred
- Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required
