Job Description
Manage the complete lifecycle of deployable communications systems, from design and development to installation and maintenance. Troubleshoot, repair, and modify circuits and components to certify system readiness and advise leadership on communications services for mission support.
Requirements
- Provide Senior Level Communications Engineer support
- Provide Communications Technician support
- Support DTRA and/or COCOM CBRN WMD search training, exercises, and operations
- Support requirements in planning, development, and assessment of equipment
- Troubleshoot repairs, modify, test circuits, replace defective parts and/or components, certify, and maintain communications systems
- Instruct members of the Department and supported forces how to use fielded communications systems to accomplish tactical missions
- Perform duties as COMSEC user responsible for the receipt, utilization, loading, maintenance, and destruction of COMSEC keys
