Job Description
KACE is seeking an experienced Law Clerk/Attorney I to perform complex legal research and writing on sophisticated legal issues and assist with all phases of 28 USC §2255 (habeas corpus) matters. The ideal candidate must be extremely well-organized and detail oriented, have excellent research and writing skills and is able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Law Degree (Juris Doctor)
- State bar license
- Demonstrated ability to utilize law library resources and working knowledge of research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis, CourtLink)
- Demonstrated legal writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle
- Availability to travel when necessary
