Resident Caregiver

Park Village Pines is seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to join their Senior Assisted Living community in Kalamazoo. The role focuses on providing personal assistance with daily living activities, fostering a supportive environment, and enhancing the lives of residents. The facility is faith-based and committed to providing exceptional, heart-led care.

Requirements

• Provide personal care to residents including bathing, oral hygiene, hair grooming, skin and nail care, toileting, dressing and undressing, and shaving.
• Answer call lights and determine resident needs.
• Transport/transfer residents using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and stand-by assist.
• Assist with meals and collect food trays.
• Monitor residents and report changes in skin condition, appetite, behavior, emotional needs, etc.
• Respond to emergencies safely.
