Semi-Senior Accountant

We are looking for a sharp, detail-driven Practice Accountant to join a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy firm based just outside of Ware, Hertfordshire. The role involves preparing financial statements, liaising with clients, and bookkeeping to aid the production of VAT returns and annual accounts.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in an accountancy practice
• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
• Strong understanding of VAT, bookkeeping and company accounts
• Comfortable using cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, SAGE, IRIS)
• Able to manage your own time and have a team player ethic
