The Kansas City Royals seek enthusiastic representatives with a passion for Community Impact to facilitate the exchange of children’s books for tickets at home games.
Requirements
- Effectively communicate and deliver information regarding the Kansas City Royals Bring Out The Books initiative
- Work home games and ensure accurate distribution and reporting
- Follow all policies and procedures as set by the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Royals Foundation
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience handling credit cards in a sales role
- Charismatic personality with a positive attitude and friendliness
- Team player attitude and desire to work hard to meet group fundraising goals
- Ability to work 60-80 home games, including weekends, nights, and some holidays from March to October
- Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs in an outdoor setting for 2-4+ hours at a time
- Ability to work in outside elements including heat, rain, and cold
- Ability to attend pre-season training sessions
- Excellent credit card handling and customer service skills
- Comfortable with technology
- Comfortable approaching people and selling in front of crowds
- Understanding of the timing/pacing of baseball
