Job Description
KBR is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to support projects around ground-based mobile satellite communication systems, antenna manufacturing, and radio frequency engineering. The selected candidate will research, develop, plan, design, and integrate mechanical products and systems.
Requirements
- Research, design, modify, develop and evaluate systems, products, components, and applications by applying fundamental mechanical engineering principles
- Validate vendor equipment performance, quality, and capabilities by developing testing methods, performing tests, and documenting test results
- Conduct and evaluate final system performance through execution of test procedures and data analysis
- Lead projects to completion by developing schedules to ensure technical performance is met and within cost
- Prepare engineering documentation, i.e., drawings, project specifications, procedures, test data and results
