Job Description
Performs rigging works in preparation to crane lift, including planning, load evaluation, and calculations. Utilizes forklift trucks, dolly, and other equipment for movement and loading of supplies. Determines procedures and tools needed to execute operations and coordinates with supervisor. Assembles rigging to lift various objects and attaches loads in a safe manner.
Requirements
- Familiarity with all types of wire ropes, fibrous ropes, rigging and tools, hoists and equipment
- Knowledge in different types/classes and uses of rigging tools and equipment
- Must speak, read, and understand English language, both orally and in writing
- Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health
