The Assistant Chief Engineer will serve the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Plus task order in support of the U.S. Department of State and reports to the Chief Engineer. The role is responsible for maintaining a safe workplace, ensuring safety is the highest priority, and overseeing the prime power and water/waste water treatment programs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and technical school or recognized training in water treatment
- Three (3) years’ experience in operations and maintenance of a water treatment plant, facility, base or municipality, with specific experience in the operation of emergency generator operations, physical plants, building operations and associated life support systems
- Two (2) years’ management experience overseeing large facility preventative maintenance programs supervising a workforce of fifteen (15) or more personnel in an overseas environment
- Certifications relating to water treatment and waste water treatment testing operations
- US Citizen
- US Passport with minimum one plus year validity remaining
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Current U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) certification
