Job Description
The KBR Metrology team supports manufacturing, engineering & test, repair & overhaul, and aftermarket service centers globally in support of Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Medical, Safety, Semiconductor and other industries. The Sr. Metrology Technician is responsible for performing routine calibrations, tests and/or inspections in-lab or on-site using accredited standards.
Requirements
- Perform calibration and certification of electronic and physical/dimensional measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications, ensuring traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- Calibrate and repair equipment such as Multimeters, frequency counter, timers, oscilloscopes, Thermo-hygrometers.
- Record maintenance activities in CMS, generate reports on results of tests, conditions of equipment and/or systems, repairs, and preventive maintenance performed, and prepare necessary documentation as required by customer and regulatory requirements.
