Job Description
KDM is seeking a Physical Designer II/III to join their substation team, responsible for designing substation layouts, sections, and bills of materials. The role involves coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and internal/external stakeholders. Proficiency in CAD and a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles are essential. KDM is a growing and award-winning engineering firm.
Requirements
- 4+ years of prior industry experience in Physical design.
- Proficient in the use of all software needed to produce quality electrical design drawings (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to interpret and analyze customer’s electrical/schematics diagrams.
- Understanding of power engineering theories and principles.
- Valid Driver’s License
