Job Description
Reporting to the Program Director, Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies, the Principal Faculty/Assistant Professor of Physician Associate Studies is responsible for course development, instruction, and coordination for the MSPA program. The Principal Faculty/Assistant Professor of Physician Associate Studies is actively involved in other facets of the program, including admissions, accreditation, and mission and programmatic review.
Requirements
- Teaching & Curriculum Development (50%): Provides high-quality student instruction and teaches in areas of expertise.
- Student Support & Admissions (20%): Engages in academic advising of students and provides remedial instruction as needed.
- Accreditation, Faculty Development & Collaboration (20%): Assists the PA program and KGI with the process of maintaining provisional accreditation.
- Scholarship, Service & Other Duties (10%): Engages in active scholarship and service.
