Reimbursement Counselor

Kelly Services is looking to hire a Reimbursement Counselor for one of our top clients in Charlotte, NC. The job involves various reimbursement functions, including claim submission, collection activity, appeals, payment posting, and refunds. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of payer eligibility and benefits, as well as accounting principles and medical claims.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to proficiently use MS Office application including Word and Excel
• Understanding of payer eligibility and benefits healthcare research
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
• General knowledge of accounting principles, pharmacy operations, and medical claims
• General knowledge of HCPCS, CPT, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding preferred
