Teacher Aide Infant Toddler

Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) is seeking a Teacher Aide for their new Hight Family Early Learning Center in Skowhegan, ME. The role involves supporting children's developmental progress and school readiness, with a focus on infants and toddlers aged 6 weeks to 3. KVCAP provides early care and education to children through direct services and community collaborations.

Requirements

• Experience in group care setting for young children ages 0-5.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to meet agency & State Child Care Licensing requirements (background checks, physical exams).
• Interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and documentation skills
• Basic computer skills.
• Minimum of $275/month supplement, as guided by the Maine ECE Workforce Salary Supplement Program.
