Job Description
Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) is seeking a Teacher Assistant to join their new Hight Family Early Learning Center in Skowhegan, ME. The role involves supporting children's development, assessment, individualized learning, and implementing curriculum. The position supports children 6 weeks to age 3.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in group care setting with young children
- Must be able to meet agency & State Child Care Licensing regulations for background checks and physical exams
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, critical thinking, and basic computer skills
- Eligible for Ed Tech II certification from the Department of Education
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education
