Job Description
Correctional Staff Nurse (Juvenile) - Camp Owens. Provides basic and emergency health care services to persons housed within Kern County correctional facilities. Must have a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse by the State of California and one year of experience as a Registered Nurse or one year of vocational nursing experience providing direct patient care in correctional health care setting.
Requirements
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse by the State of California
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- One year of vocational nursing experience providing direct patient care in correctional health care setting
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card
- RQI Provider certification and competency
- Valid California Class “C” Driver’s License
