Job Description
The Student Summer Recreation Assistant will provide primary supervision for the Keuka College waterfront area, managing and providing daily supervision of the beach, swimming area, and boathouse.
Requirements
- Manage and provide daily supervision of the beach, swimming area, and boathouse.
- Complete checklist of safety precautions prior to beach opening.
- Occasionally set up and prepare recreational equipment for conferences and parties.
- Check the swimming area for any dangerous or hazardous materials.
- Distribute brochures to every guest that comes down to the beach.
- Attend all training meetings.
- Report all problems, concerns, or hazards directly to the Recreation Director.
- Working in tandem with one other individual to successfully allow boating and swimming.
- Perform other functions as assigned by management.
