We provide community-based services to children and adults with autism, individuals with intellectual disabilities, and adults experiencing mental illness. Our programs also include early intervention, Capital Area Head Start, and Susquehanna Service Dogs. Although we’re based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, we serve children, adults, and families throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and Connecticut, as well as Moldova and India.
Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Program Specialist to provide leadership and support to employees and individuals served within assigned programs, including coordination, development, and implementation of individual assessments and education and skill development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Master's degree or higher and one (1) year experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information
- Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and learn web-based systems
- Valid driver's license and access to properly insured vehicle
- Successful completion of pre-employment process, including Criminal History, MVR, Child Abuse and FBI clearances
