Job Description
The Phone Triage Medical Assistant is responsible for coordinating nephrology patient care by triaging patient phone calls and performing routine clinical tasks.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certificate or diploma required
- Minimum two (2) years of medical assistant experience required
- Knowledge and appropriate use of medical terminology required
- Excellent communication and computer skills required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment required
- Task-oriented, self-motivated, and ability to work remotely if needed without supervision required
- Experience with Telemedicine preferred
- Prior experience working in an urgent care or specialty setting preferred
