Execute maintenance on various military aircraft, train on electrical wire harnesses, and interpret technical manuals. Travel for extended periods and perform inventory control, tool control, and preventive maintenance.
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred
- Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required
- 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
- Broad working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements
- Knowledgeable in documenting maintenance actions in any of the following (USAF, USN and US Army) aircraft records to include digital maintenance data systems
- Familiar with the installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc.
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
- Successful candidates must obtain minimum favorable Tier 1 personnel security investigation IAW Department of Defense Instruction 5200.46, DoD Investigative and Adjudicative Guidance for Issuing Common Access Card (CAC)
