Job Description
We are looking for an EHS Specialist to join our plant team in Ludlow, Massachusetts. The EHS Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs that ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies related to workplace safety, environmental protection, and employee health.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, science, safety, industrial hygiene, or a similar discipline
- 3 or more years of environmental, health and safety compliance experience in any manufacturing environment
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of federal, state/provincial and local EHS regulations
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) is a plus
- Relevant certifications a plus (CSP, CIH, CHMM, PE)
- Ability to act as a positive EHS role model, influencing and motivating others
- Self-motivated with a strong results orientation based on solid analytical thinking and judgment
