Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Commercial Lines Field Production Underwriter to join our team in Michigan, responsible for underwriting and pricing new Commercial Casualty business within the Excess & Surplus (E&S) market. The role involves assessing individual risk acceptability, pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions for complex surplus lines commercial property and casualty policies.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Commercial Casualty underwriting, preferably in the surplus lines/E&S market
- Production Underwriting and/or Territory Marketing experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex risks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building producer relationships
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
