Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) to join our interdisciplinary team. The CTRS will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic recreation programs designed to improve patients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Therapy, or related field
- Current certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC)/or applying to take the exam.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, rehabilitation, long-term care, or pediatric settings preferred
