Job Description
We are seeking an Elementary Teacher at KIPP Northeast Elementary for the 26/27 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a strong commitment to KIPP's mission, and excellent teaching skills. As a teacher at KIPP, you will be responsible for developing rigorous, engaging, and culturally-sustaining instruction that prepares students for multiple post-secondary opportunities. You will also be expected to create and cultivate a culturally responsive classroom community that is warm-demanding and uphold school-wide expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Spanish bilingual (preferred)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience (highly preferred but not required)
- Ability to fulfill all state and federal guidelines to meet Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) criteria
- Ability to participate in specific, pre-planned and required events/activities as directed by the school
