Job Description
The Assistant Principal will support a school culture that sets high-expectations and empowers students to develop the knowledge, skills, and character traits necessary to pursue a choice-filled life. The Assistant Principal will work closely with the Principal to establish a loving, structured, and achievement-oriented school culture, and will have a strong understanding of race and equity.
Requirements
- Evidence of significant and consistent personal and professional achievement
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- 3+ year(s) of experience as a classroom teacher with a proven record of high achievement
- 1+ year(s) experience leading and/or coaching teachers, including but limited to roles such as Assistant Principal, Principal, Dean of Instruction, Dean of Academics, Instructional Coach, Teacher Coach
