Job Description
The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) Certified Peer Counselor (CPC) provides crisis intervention, referrals, and support to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use issues, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to State and Salish BHASO mandated services. This is a two-shift-per-month on-call position with responsibilities ranging from validating peer experiences to coordinating with external resources and providing clinical support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of experience working with behavioral health/substance use populations
- Driver's license in Washington State
- Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration
- Completion of Washington State Mental Health Division's Peer Counselor Training
