Per Diem Designated Crisis Responder

Hiring an On-Call Designated Crisis Responder to provide prompt and focused expert response to persons in crisis in Kitsap County. This role involves providing crisis resolution, clinical assessments, legal investigations, and coordinated client and community outreach, while adhering to the requirements of the Washington State Involuntary Treatment Act (RCW 71.05 and 71.34). The position focuses on stabilizing the crisis, facilitating access to mental health/substance use disorder services, and performing legal investigations.

Requirements

• Provide crisis outreach services throughout Kitsap County.
• Maintain respect and dignity of clients, staff, and community professionals.
• Manage multiple investigations, consultations, and responsibilities.
• Conduct face-to-face (FTF) assessments.
• Assess and ensure client safety.
• Coordinate interviews and provide information to witnesses.
• Conduct investigations using reliable sources of information.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of WA State ITA and DCR protocols.
