Job Description
KIWA is hiring part time Voter Engagement Canvassers to support a Spring 2026 voter engagement and base building program in Koreatown and adjacent neighborhoods.
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Korean or English and Spanish
- Availability to attend mandatory training from February 10 to 12, 2026
- Ability to follow scripts and provide accurate nonpartisan information
- Strong commitment to social, racial, and economic justice
- Ability to build rapport with diverse community members and communicate clearly and enthusiastically
- Strong listening skills and ability to guide conversations toward local action
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, stand or walk for extended periods, and lift up to 10 pounds
