Job Description
The United to House LA Coalition Manager will coordinate the strengthening and expansion of the coalition, amplify UHLA’s communications efforts, and advance external strategy. The role will also support the execution of the coalition external strategy, establish and maintain strategic relationships, and support the establishment of a coalition-wide canvassing strategy.
Requirements
- Policy advocacy experience, ideally in Los Angeles.
- Experience leading and managing coalition campaigns.
- Experience with organizing and/or electoral field campaigns.
- Understanding of communications and ability to coordinate communications staff within coalition member organizations and external consultants.
- Commitment to the goals of ULA.
- Commitment to racial and economic justice.
- Commitment to strengthening social justice movements and especially housing justice.
- Strong communicator and ability to understand and work with a wide range of people.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough.
- Integrity and mature judgment.
