Job Description
Kleinfelder is seeking an Environmental Remediation Scientist/Geologist to perform environmental data evaluation, technical writing, field activities, and overall field services assistance at remediation project sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or related discipline
- 4-8 years of experience in environmental work
- Soil and/or ground water sample collection experience
- Strong technical writing skills
- Experience with preparing regulatory reports
- Experience with various contaminants including chlorinated compounds, petroleum compounds, PCBs, PFAS compounds, and metals
- Experience with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow direction and work independently, as well as, in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, judgment and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
