Job Description
A manufacturer of space heaters, fireplaces and grills is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with fabrication, welding, and assembly of light gauge sheet metal consumer appliances.
Requirements
- Help production achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost expectations
- Drive continuous improvements in production
- Perform time studies and line balancing
- Create standard work documents
- Define material replenishment systems and pull signals
- Design and implement new production lines and areas
- Modify production lines and areas
- Implement New Products (NPD)
- Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
- Lead and be a productive team members in cross-functional activities
