Job Description
The Sr Performance Engineer will enable complex performance testing and monitoring of products, collaborate with Engineering to troubleshoot performance issues, and automate deployment of new testbeds in various Cloud platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent job-related experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Linux OS, User-Space and Programming
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands on knowledge of profiling/debugging/network traffic generating tools such as iperf, Nuttcp, Nmap, etc.
- Experience in automation using Python and using PyTest to write unit-tests for new processes
- Comfortable with tools and system administration using MySQL, Docker Swarm, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies is preferable
- Familiarity with networking/TCP stack preferable
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, along with ability to communicate complex procedures
- Excellent organizational skills, along with ability to remain focused on completing tasks and meeting goals
