The Head of PMO is responsible for leading, developing, and managing the Project Management Office, ensuring effective delivery of projects, aligning with business strategies, and enhancing project management capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, computer science, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in establishing and leading a PMO in a complex organization, experience in leading PMO in digital transformation organization is preferred
- Experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Primavera
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and Lean
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications are highly desirable
