Network Engineer

Arlluk Technology Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support ATS and our government customer in Washington, DC. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, deploying, and administering our customer's local and wide area network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Design and implement secure network architectures using routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers and related devices
• Configure and integrate various routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
• Provision VLANs, access control lists, QoS policies and other services
• Perform network upgrades, maintenance, and optimizations to ensure high availability
• Monitor network health, performance, and security using industry tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, connectivity and security issues
• Automate network configuration and operational tasks through scripting
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams and runbooks
• Work with external vendors and service providers for circuit deployments
• Participate in the evaluation and testing of new networking products/technologies
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior team members
