Principal Network Engineer

Arlluk Technology Solutions is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to support ATS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. The Principal Network Engineer will be a subject matter expert and technical leader responsible for architecting highly complex and secure network solutions for government customers.

Requirements

• Serve as the lead network architect designing secure, redundant, and scalable architecture
• Conduct deep-level technical evaluations to ensure designs meet requirements and specifications
• Partner with customers to gather business/technical requirements and propose innovative solutions
• Define and implement network standards, configurations, and automation across environments
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior network engineering teams
• Develop training materials and conduct knowledge transfer sessions
• Analyze network traffic data to identify optimization and capacity planning improvements
• Evaluate and test new products/technologies for potential implementation
• Create detailed design and architecture documentation based on best practices
• Lead complex implementation projects from planning through deployment
